Day 01: Arrival in Colombo - Bentota | Gold Coast City

• Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, meet our representative and be escorted to your vehicle for your journey to Bentota.


• Once you've arrived in Bentota, get transferred to your hotel, complete your check-in procedures, and relax.


• Head towards Kosgoda to visit the Turtle Hatchery, the prime turtle nesting site. Witness the huge tanks filled with new-born turtle hatchlings as well as the baby as well as see how the baby turtles after being fed, are taken to the sea, and released when they are 2-4 days old, usually during the safer hours of darkness.


• Enjoy at the beach of the hotel in Bentota and enjoy an overnight stay in Bentota.

• Wake up in the morning to the sound of the sea waves and breathe in the fresh air.


• After enjoying a lavish breakfast at your hotel in Bentota proceed to Madhu River.


• Head towards Madhu River to enjoy a boat ride along the islets forested with a rich profusion of mangrove trees, exotic varieties of birds, etc., and come across more than one hundred eleven species of birds in their natural habitat.


• Then visit Kosgoda turtle farm, turtles are a protected species in Sri Lanka, where we can find 5 of the 8 varieties of tortoise in the world. On the south coast of the country, it is easy to see them appear on the beach at night to spawn. Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery is a farm created to preserve this endangered species. The eggs are collected and quickly reburied in the sand to protect them from birds, crabs, and humans. It also takes care of the turtles until their navel is closed and they are returned to the sea.


• Do some water sports in Bentota? Bentota is the water-sports capital of Sri Lanka - Available options are the following activities like Windsurfing, Surfing, Water Skiing, Wakeboarding, Body boarding, Banana riding, Tube ride, Jet-ski, Deep Sea Fishing, River Fishing, Snorkelling, Diving, River cruises - Well-trained and experienced instructors and certificate holders are pleased to welcome guests in the water sports center and to assist them in the discovery of the richness of the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean.

• Have your healthy breakfast in the morning, then check out of the hotel and travel to Yala.


•You can visit the National Maritime Museum, the Dutch Reformed Church, The Galle Lighthouse, and     Meera Mosque on your way to the Galle Fort.


• Once you are done exploring the Galle Fort you can proceed to Mirissa.


• Upon reaching Mirissa Beach, you'll spot the Parrot Rock, a huge, red mound that towers over        the water.


• Also, Coconut Tree Hill is an Instagram-worthy
  location.


• After exploring these sites proceed to Yala and enjoy the scenic landscapes on the
   way.


• When you arrive at the Yala hotel, check in and complete the check-in procedures. After
   that, go to the room and rest.

• In the morning, wake up to chirping birds, eat a healthy breakfast, and then embark on a
   jungle safari in Yala National Park.


• One of Sri Lanka's must-see places, Yala National Park is home to a variety of flora and fauna          and is a unique experience.


• Leopards are the star of fascination and Yala is accepted to have the universe's most noteworthy grouping of these huge
cats.


• While doing the safari you can spot herds of elephants, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, buffaloes, birds, sloth bears, leopards, and many more. • After the jungle safari, get back to your hotel and complete the check-out formalities for proceeding to Nuwara Eliya towards the beautiful city of Ella.


• Ella is a picturesque destination flaunting its beautiful meadows, hills, and gardens as well as a city          with great historical importance.


• Visit the beautiful Nine Arch Bridge to witness the uninterrupted panoramic views of nature.

• Wake up in the hills covered with the green carpet and enjoy yourself after enjoying a lavish breakfast check out from your hotel and proceed to Kandy.


• Proceed towards Hakgala Botanical Gardens, which is home to various wild life, including bears, monkeys, and birds.


• Later proceed to Ramboda Falls which is known for scenic landscapes comprising highlands, ridges, plains, streams, and hilly mountains.


• Visit the Hanuman Temple, it is believed that this was the first place in Sri Lanka where Hanuman landed before starting the quest to look for Goddess Sita.

• Visit the Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Statue is the biggest Buddha statue in Sri Lanka nestled within the hilltops above Kandy and offers a panoramic view of the city.


• Further proceed to the beautiful golden-roofed Buddhist Temple in the heart of Kandy, where you can see the legendary tooth relic of Buddha, which is enclosed inside several golden boxes, covered in jewels.


• Later you can stroll around Kandy Lake, which is also known as the "Sea of Milk" and relax in nature.


• We will visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. This Botanical Garden was originally built as a garden of enjoyment by a Sinhalese King and was extended by the British. Its extension is almost a 60-hectare, offering an incredible variety of trees, plants, and flowers, around 4000 species. In the middle of the garden, we find one of the largest collections of orchids in the world.
